As always, very satisfied. Small card that can be mastered for the small kitchen. Good and fresh raw materials, well processed. You have to have a little patience if there are more than one, but it's worth it Sometimes extra dishes on the blackboard or on request.

If I could I would give zero stars. I called first to make a reservation and was then directed to the online reservation (after checking availability). I made an online reservation and stated when I made my reservation that we would come with the gourmet block. When we were there and ordered drinks, I only wanted my schnitzel with cream sauce without the mushrooms, which according to the waitress would not be possible because everything is ready. Thereupon she said she looks again and when she came back we got the info the gourmet block would not be valid today (we had said long before that we had the gourmet block) because today would be Valentine's Day and that would be like a holiday (rarely laughed like that ). It looked a bit like being kicked out. After taking all the way extra we went. The information could have been given to us directly when we made the reservation, we would have saved time and above all money. It's a shame. Incidentally, the only restaurant where the gourmet block is not valid on Valentine's Day;)

Nice sports venue in the tennis, badminton and squash hall. Good food with Bavarian beer ? or Palatine wine ?.

Our experience is very positive. The food is delicious (food like home) and fresh made. An insider tip for us.

Good choice, although today was only from the Bayrischen menu, but very tasty and well prepared. Can recommend. Worth the visit! Lovely beers too!

This restaurant is just bold and outrageous. You do not want to know anything about rules, vouchers are not honored ... One can only advise anyone not to support these practices.

Food was very good, the schnitzel with the fried egg was very good, only with the serve you have to practice it a bit. Where some were already finished with the food, the others still had nothing to eat. But the quality was very good

For the first time and with guests. Not impressed on the outside. But 6 different dishes. Everyone was satisfied and surprised. Very good, staff nice and friendly. A visit always recommended.

The location of the Berghäusel is a bit hidden in a "sports park" or similar. The dining room is completely paneled with wood, there is a large viewing window through which you can look into the sports hall. When we came it was still quite empty and we could choose a place. The service was VERY FRIENDLY but unfortunately a bit slow or inattentive. We would have ordered more if she had asked from time to time. The food was good but I absolutely cannot understand the euphoric outbursts that can sometimes be read here. The schnitzel was big enough, breaded and fried neatly, the fried potatoes finally not from the fryer (that's really great !!) but from the pan. The fries were VERY tasty, seasoned with a good seasoning salt. I would particularly like to emphasize that there is actually a reasonable selection of desserts in the Berghäusel !!! You rarely find that, usually there are three different sundaes and you're done. Not so here. There is Kaiserschmarrn and Zabaione - fantastic !! Over time, it got a little uncomfortable in the dining room, because people were constantly running around with huge sports bags and the waitress and the cook kept running outside. I think that the sporting facilities are still being looked after. Unfortunately, this causes unrest in the dining room and you no longer feel so comfortable. Conclusion: Because of the inattentive service and the restless atmosphere, I deduct two stars. Otherwise we would come back if we are nearby but not especially to Mainz.

We tried the autumn menu. Very tasty pumpkin soup and a rich salad. The Schnitzel classic is always possible. Good portions in top quality. We come every Wednesday for 3 years!

The schnitzel was super tasty and tender. The mushroom cream sauce was prepared with fresh mushrooms and not out of the bag. We had ordered a small salad which was sufficient for two people and was served with a delicious salad dressing. The service staff was also very courteous. All in all, the visit was worth it! We will be back for sure!

The gypsy schnitzel with chips tasted good, the plate was too crowded ..

Super delicious food and very friendly, attentive staff. I can only recommend the restaurant Berghäusl! I will come back.
